Information About Moorestown
Bucolic Moorestown originated as a Quaker town in 1682 .The name Moorestown did not come into use until the mid 1800s, named after Moore's Tavern. Until 1867, the only form of transportation from Moorestown to Philadelphia was stagecoach, until a railroad was built. Before this, Coles Hotel was a major resting point. Read more
